Delink device from your bolt cloud account
Follow the below mentioned steps to successfully remove your device from your bolt cloud account:
- Navigate to https://enterprise.boltiot.com
- Log in using the Admin account (This is the account where the device is primarily linked).
A] Unlinking the device from the alerts
- Once logged in, go to the Alerts section. Check through all the alerts present here and unlink the device from the alerts to not receive any false alerts upon the removal of the device from the account.
- You can unlink the devices from the alerts by looking under Actions tab on the right side of the screen and clicking on the second icon "Unlink this device from this alert"
B] Disconnect the device from the Internet network
- Now go to the "Devices" section. Navigate to your target device.
- Click on the three dots (last option) for the target device, select Device Info, Here you will be able to see a clickable icon "Disconnect" above which your wifi name will be mentioned to which the device is connected.
- Click on the Disconnect icon and go back to the "Devices" section.
C] Disconnect the device from the account
- Once in the "Devices" section, again navigate to your target device.
- Click on the three dots (last option) for the target device, select “Share this device,” then go to the "Private" section. Here you will be able to see one "owner" email id which is your admin account and "user" email id's with whom the device is shared with.
- Remove all the "user" email id's by clicking the "remove" icon under the actions tab next to the email id's. Follow the same step to remove all the user email id's and lastly at the end remove the "owner" email id.
- Once all the steps are completed the device will be unlinked from the account and you won't be able to see the device in your "Devices" section.
