Setting the device data collection rate

Follow the steps below to update how frequently your device collects and sends data to the cloud:

1. Go to https://cloud.boltiot.com and log in using the admin credentials that have been shared with you by our team.
   
   
2. On the left-hand panel, click on the “Products” tab.
   
   
3. Click on the product linked to your device. You’ll see all devices associated with this product listed on the right side of the screen, this helps confirm you're on the right product. 
   
   
4. Once you have confirmed that you have selected the right product, on the top-right corner, click the first icon labeled “Configure this product”.
   
   
5. You’ll be redirected to a new screen. At the top-center of this page, you’ll see three headings. Click on the “Hardware” tab.
   
   ⚠️ Note: Please avoid changing anything else on this page, as it might interfere with your device setup
   
6. In the Hardware section, find the text “How often do you want to send data?”
   You’ll see a dropdown menu next to it with pre-set time intervals. These define how often your device will send data to the cloud.
   Choose your preferred interval from the dropdown list.
   
   
7. Click on the Save button in the top-right corner (the middle button). Once you see the confirmation popup “Data collection rate is updated,” click on the Cross (X) button next to Save to exit the screen.
   
   
8. Within some time, your device will start reflecting the new data collection rate automatically.
