Adding Products to a Blake account

This document describes the steps to be followed for exporting a product from one Bolt Cloud account and importing it into another. Follow these steps for any customer who has Blake devices.

Step A: Getting the relevant product URL

• On the web browser, go to https://cloud.boltiot.com.

• Using 1Password, sign in to the account enterprise.production+BlakeProductCode@boltiot.com.

• After successful login, on the left navigation menu click on the “Products” tab.

• From the list of products locate and click the relevant product name you want to export. Please select the product based on the following:

  • For Temperature and Humidity monitoring device (Blake) - Choose “Blake”

  • For Temperature only monitoring device (Freeze Guard) - Choose “Blake_Temp_Only”

• In the product page (top-right corner of the product page) click the “Export product” icon.

• A product export pop-up will appear showing the “Product export URL”.

• Click the “Copy” button to copy the export URL to your clipboard.

• Save the copied URL in a secure temporary location to use it later. Do not paste it into public or insecure channels.

Step B: Adding the product URL in the target account

1. Open a web browser and go to https://cloud.boltiot.com.

2. Log in to the “target account” (the account where you want to add the product).

3. From the left navigation panel click “Products” tab.

4. Click the “+ Add Product” button (Visible next to the products tab).

5. In the Add Product popup choose “Import Product”.

6. The import screen will prompt for a “Product URL”. Paste the product export URL you copied earlier from Step A into the input field.

7. Click the Import button.

8. Wait for the page to refresh. The imported product should now appear in the target account’s Products list.

Only use the following enterprise account “enterprise.production+BlakeProductCode@boltiot.com” for exporting product URLs. Do not share credentials outside the team.
