Bolt IoT Backup Manager

The Bolt IoT Backup Manager allows you to securely back up and download device data from your Bolt Cloud account.It enables you to select specific devices, choose the data range, and manage your backups efficiently.One major advantage of this tool is that you can download bulk data quickly and easily.

Steps to Access the Dashboard

1. Log in to the Bolt IoT Backup Manager

1. Visit https://backup.boltiot.com.
   

2. Log in using your registered credentials.

2. Obtain Your API Key

1. Log in to your Bolt Cloud account at https://cloud.boltiot.com.
   

2. Navigate to the API section in the menu.
   

3. If your API Key is disabled, enable it.
   

4. Copy the API Key displayed on the screen.

3. Connect to the Bolt IoT Backup Manager Dashboard

1. Open the Backup Manager Dashboard.
   

2. Paste your copied API Key on the login page.
   

3. Click the Connect Dashboard button.
   

4. Once logged in, you can view all your connected devices.

Creating a Backup

Follow these steps to download a device backup:

1. From the device list, select the device you want to back up.
   

2. Choose the data range from the dropdown menu:

   • Previous Week

   • Last 1000 Data Points
     

3. Click the Start Backup button.
   

4. The system will begin fetching data and processing the backup.
   

5. Once complete, click the Download Backup button.
   

6. The backup file will be downloaded successfully to your system.

Backup History

The Backup History section displays all previously created backups.
From this section, you can:

• Download an existing backup.
  

• Delete a backup that is no longer needed.
  

This feature helps you manage your stored backups efficiently and maintain organized device data records.

Settings Tab

In the Settings tab, you can:

• Fetch and add new devices from your Bolt Cloud account by clicking the Sync Devices button.
  

• View data retention details.
  

• Check your API Key information.
